Volunteer Opportunities

All volunteers that will be working directly with our clients will be required to go through a volunteer training. Training's will be the second Monday of every month and last approximately 1 hour.  You can attend from 11 am-12 pm or 6 pm- 7pm at the Apple Patch Chapel.

For volunteer groups that will be working with the clients on an ongoing basis, we can set up a time that will work best for the group.  


Class Activities Assistant- Opportunities to work with our clients and staff at our Day Program Sites.   

Music • Exercise • Arts and Crafts • Money Management • Health and Wellness • Culinary • Science and History • Education • Swimming

 

Outing Assistant- Activates with Clients and Staff in the community

Nature Walks • Volunteering • Special Olympics • Around town visits • Shopping Days  


Other Volunteer Opportunities- Opportunities to help staff on projects- these are many times project that do not work directly with clients 

Office & Administration Assistance • Campus Improvement Projects • Special Event Planning • Marketing & Community Awareness 

 

Residential- Working with clients in the home

Adopt and Home • Apple Patch Pal • Hang Out Nights • Getting ready for dances/ social events

 

Group Volunteering Opportunities

Campus Clean Ups • Entertainment for Clients • Transportation Maintenance • Campus Needs
