pple Patch is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting a life of independence for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  We believe that many individuals are capable of independent living, yet have never been given an opportunity to reach their highest potential in an environment where their skills are strengthened through “real life” experiences in the community. We know that positive, affirming life experiences are the foundation to leading an independent and productive life.  To help individuals accomplish this, we will ensure that each person we serve is provided the opportunity to live as independently as possible in an integrated setting . . . and given the support to make choices among residential options, employment opportunities, social and recreational activities, and skills training to achieve the goals to which they aspire.
